Italy Part 2

FLORENCE  is the capital city of the Tuscan region and can be found on the River Amo

It is famous for its rich historical importance during the middle ages and has evolved into a major City, rich in culture, art and Italian Fashion.

Amongst other things, Florence is home to the STATUE OF DAVID.  David was sculptured in the Renaissance era by Michelangelo and stands 5.17 meters tall.   He is today found in the Accademia Gallery

Italian music sets a wonderful romantic feel to dinners.  Verdi was Italian.

VENICE  is built on canals which are surrounded by rich architectural buildings.

To hop on a Gondola and be taken around the canals of Venice while being serenaded is something you really need to do if you are in Italy.

Its a cultural delight and if you are with the right person, it is rather romantic.

It has been said that the city is sinking, as it is often flooded.  Recent studies show that the sinking of  Venice has slowed down and perhaps is not sinking anymore.    Only time will tell.

MILAN is the second largest City in Italy.  It was founded by the Celtics.  Milan is also the main industrial, commercial and financial center of Italy.

Lets not forget that Milan is one of the top fashion and design Capitals of the World.  Many of the designers world wide show their designs at Fashion week once a year.

ITALY is enshrouded in CULTURE, BEAUTY, FASHION, FOOD AND GREAT WINES

Boticelli, da Vinci, Michelangelo, Verdi and many more Italian born artists added to the architecture of ITALY and it’s Cities.
